The Mill A School District is pleased to announce the opportunity for addition of new members to the Nutritional and Health Education and Wellness Committee. The committee will be composed of parents, teachers, administrators, students, and community members who are passionate about promoting health and wellness in our schools.

In accordance with district policy 6700, and state and federal requirements, the MASD Wellness Committee is seeking additional members to provide representation and input from all stakeholder groups.

Open positions:

·        Parents (2)

·        Students (1 elementary, 1 secondary)

·        Community member (1)

The committee is responsible for establishing, evaluating, and developing an implementation plan for the district wellness policy. Committee meetings will be held at least twice each school year, as scheduled by the committee members.
