Please join us to discuss the future of Mill A PTO next Wednesday 06/18/25 at 6:00pm in the Mill A School Library or virtually with the Google Meet link below.
I will be resigning as PTO president and we will be looking for new leadership for the upcoming school year and beyond. If you have fresh ideas & are interested in taking on a leadership role in the future, we'd love to hear from you!
If we are unable to find anyone willing to commit to taking on a leadership role, we will discuss options for either shutting PTO down to maintenance level until another option is available, or ending it permanently.
Your voice & perspective is valuable, so please attend if you are able.

Good news! Mill A PTO is working on end-of-the-year shirts! To honor the end of the year spent together, the PTO gifts each MAS and PCIA student a celebratory school shirt. We need to know what size you/your student prefers and if you would like to order additional shirts for $15.
Teachers will be handing out t-shirt order forms. Please use this to tell us your students’ preferred shirt size and return it to the office by Tuesday (5/20).

May is a busy month at MASD. Please update your calendars with all of our upcoming events!

Good Morning,
I want to update you regarding Ms. Giles. As many of you know, the MASD Board of Directors accepted Ms. Giles's retirement letter at the Regular School Board Meeting on March 17, 2025. The Board and I wish her the best in her retirement and hope she can engage in activities that bring her joy.
Since then, Ms. Giles and the district have mutually agreed to a separation of employment prior to her planned retirement date of June 11th. We will miss her creative spirit very much and wish her the best in her future endeavors.
For the remainder of the school year, Ms. McLarney will teach Ms. Giles's MAS classes, while Ms. Lomax, Ms. McLarney, and I will cover her high school courses.
Thanks to Ms. Giles's announcement of her intent to retire in March, we have been able to thoughtfully plan for MAS and PCIA's fine arts instruction for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. Once we finalize contracts, I will provide more details about the upcoming school year.
Please join me in wishing Ms. Giles the very best.
Thank you,
Kelly Stickel

The district is excited to announce that the PTO's Music in Mill A is coming up on May 10th, 2025
