Mr. Rogers’ Thanksgiving Message

For as long as I can remember, Thanksgiving has been one of my favorite holidays. It might be the feast of turkey and stuffing, steaming mashed potatoes and gravy, followed by pumpkin pie of course. It might be the time with siblings, cousins, grandparents, aunts & uncles. It might be the family game time and football on TV. It might be all of these things … but what I know for sure is that a sense of gratitude and expressions of genuine thankfulness for blessings are at the core of what makes Thanksgiving such a special and unique holiday. These cannot be bought nor commercialized, yet they enrich the hearts of both recipient and giver alike.

I would be remiss if I failed to express my own personal gratitude for the caring teachers, dedicated staff, and wonderful students I am blessed to work with every day. Thank you to all MAS and PCIA families for your partnership and encouragement as we continue to diligently strive to make our schools a place where every student is seen, known, and belongs.

On this Thanksgiving Day it is my earnest hope and prayer that all MAS and PCIA students, staff, and families' hearts be filled with the blessing of gratitude.

Sincerely,

Bob Rogers
