At today's morning meeting, and as part of our "Read Across Mill A School" reading challenge, Mrs. Durham entertained us all with a very dramatic reading of "Fox in Socks"!

Mrs. Durham's class has started planting seeds.

Propagating plants with Mrs. Durham.
Several students had an opportunity to make plant cuttings to propagate in water. They also had an opportunity to plant new cuttings that had already been rooted by water propagation. Watch for more school-wide plant studies in the future. We are very excited for our students to learn all about plants!

Watering Plants
Several students help water plants when they have a few minutes to spare. Taking care of these plants is a team effort!
The next PTO Plant Sale will be on Saturday, May 21st from 9 am-noon.

Drawing to the music in Mrs. Harty's music class.

Read Across Mill A School!
This is a school-wide reading challenge! As students read a book, they can fill out a book review form, add it on to the worm and help our bookworm grow.
Students also have an opportunity to do a read aloud to the whole school on Fridays this month. Students can sign up by talking to their teacher.

Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss!
Thank you Ms. Naomi for making us such a special lunch of green eggs and ham!

Fun in the sun!

Bobcat Parents,
Tuesday was our 100th day of school, and as we head into the second half of the school year we would like to hear from you about how you think we are doing. We appreciate hearing about things that you think are going well, but also need to know when we need to do better - and your voice matters! Thank you!
