Please join us in supporting the Bingen Food Bank.
When: Mon-Fri, 11/18 - 11/22
What: Students bring in non-perishable food to collect for donation. Also accepted are brand-new, unopened household supplies, diapers, wipes, toiletries, and anything else that might be helpful for folks during this time of the year.
Where: Students bring items to their classrooms.
Prize: PCIA and MAS will compete to collect the most items. The school that collects the most items by the end of the week, Friday 11/22, will win a DONUT PARTY!!
Rules: 1 item is equal to an individually packaged item. So, a flat of 12 cans of soup counts as 12 items. A Costco-sized box of microwave popcorn may count as 24 items (or however many are in the box). Remember that all packages (including the outside box) should be unopened.

A friendly reminder: today is Early Release Wednesday.

Mrs. Birney and her K-2 students started a poster to honor and thank our veterans. Throughout the week, students and staff have been adding names of family and friends who have served in the armed forces.
We want to express our gratitude and respect to all those who served our country.

The Mill A area is currently without power including the Mill A School District.
At this time we are able to operate on emergency power and daylight. We will have regular dismissal for MAS K-8 and PCIA.

Our 3-5 classes recently read I Survived the Titanic, which inspired us to build our very own boats! A special thanks to Mr. Dyer for providing the foam that sparked our creativity this week.

We got very cold and frosty today in Mill A, which made for a chilly morning recess for all.
Parents, it might be a good time to tuck a pair of gloves and a hat in your child's backpack. We want everyone to be safe and warm!

We are so fortunate that our campus has a hiking path in our "Little Forest". Our teachers frequently take their students for walks in there.

Mrs. Duffus teaching the K-2 students about the spine in PE class today. They learned about the different spinal segments and made a spine using fruit loops, pasta and pipe cleaners.

We have been enjoying the sunshine at recess, but the rain is coming. Parents and guardians, please make sure your student is dressed for the weather.
