We hope you all had a wonderful first day of school, we sure did! Here are some "first day of school photos" of some of our staff!

Every Friday at Mill A School is Bobcat Pride Day! All students, teachers and staff are invited to show their Bobcat Pride by wearing blue and yellow on Fridays! 💛💙 For your convenience, Mill A PTO has a lot of blue and yellow items for sale in Mill A PTO's School Pride Store which is located right by Ms. Lisa's office in the front entry.

Teachers and staff are back! They are busy planning and preparing for the 2023-34 school year. We can't wait to see your students on Wednesday, Aug 30th. Please note: this is an early-release day, school is dismissed at 12:35 pm.

Mill A Bus route schedules are posted to the district website (https://www.milla.k12.wa.us/transportation) and MAS Facebook page. We are excited to have our students back in 5 days and counting!

NO SCHOOL Monday, June 19, in recognition of Juneteenth. Only 2 more days! Last day is Wednesday (6/21) - all students dismissed at 12:35.

Tuesday, June 20, Mill A School students will be taking a field trip to the Bonneville Dam. This special opportunity with a guided ranger program will help us have a greater appreciation for this special landmark and resource.

It's graduation day at PCIA! We love participating in this tradition of celebrating and honoring the seniors. Congratulations, Class of 2023!

Spirit Week is June 12th-16th

*FIELD DAY VOLUNTEERS* We need volunteers to help at Field day on Wednesday, June 21st from 8 am - 12:30 pm. Please call Ms. Lisa (509-538-2522) in the school office today to reserve your spot. All volunteers need to have a completed background check and we need to know if you would like to purchase a school picnic lunch.

This is a fun end-of-school-year tradition sponsored by Mill A PTO. You are all invited to order a 2022-23 Bobcat Pride t-shirt! The t-shirt color alternates each year, and this year is a royal blue year for Mill A School, and a gray/silver year for Pacific Crest Innovation Academy! Proceeds from these t-shirt sales help us give a free t-shirt to every student. Such a beautiful day to have lunch outside!

Every Friday, students have an opportunity to visit the Bookmobile from Fort Vancouver Regional Library. The bookmobile comes at 10 am on Fridays and will continue to come all summer long.

Mrs. Talbott's class has just wrapped up the archery portion of their PE class. Archery classes were taught by Cheri Anderson and Jennifer Rowlen, certified instructors from the National Archery in Schools Program. Cheri and Jennifer work for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at the Spring Creek National Fish Hatchery.
