Happy Halloween!
We wanted to let you know that your student(s) may need help carrying a pumpkin when they get off the bus, or when you pick them up. All students will have the option of bringing a pumpkin home today!
The costume parade this morning was so fun and our students got to trick-or-treat at 15 stations around our campus. We have been having a wonderful Halloween day at Mill A School!

Fall Festival is tonight! The fun starts at 6 pm!
Please help us show the most Bobcat Pride ever by wearing royal blue and gold!

Halloween at Mill A School!
Bobcat friends and families, you are invited to join us for our Halloween parade in the gymnasium at 8 AM on Tuesday, October 31st. Students should wear their costumes to school, the parade will begin shortly after breakfast. *Remember, no weapons are allowed at school.
Students will also have an opportunity to trick-or-treat around the school at 9 am. Mill A PTO will provide candy and treats.

As part of our Fall Festival festivities, all students had an opportunity to take beginner swing dance classes from Bobcat parents, Johnny Griffith & Hannah Dewees-Griffith.





We hope you will join us for this fun, PTO sponsored event in our school on Saturday, 10/28.


Thursday (10/19), Mill A Schools will be conducting an Earthquake Drill in conjunction with the Great American Shake Out. Please have a conversation with your child about earthquake safety (Drop, Cover, Hold on) or use this as an opportunity to tell them your own personal earthquake story. Picture retakes for MAS & PCIA students are scheduled for Wednesday (10/4) morning 8-10am. Message from Peterson Photography: Retakes are not offered because of "wrong" clothes or hair, or braces in the original photo. If you have questions about retakes, please contact Shelly @ 509-637-4989.

MAS Back-to-School Open House THIS WEDNESDAY starting at 5:30 with a baked potato bar. See you there!

To volunteer in our schools or chaperone field trips, paperwork must be completed in the school office every year. See Ms. Lisa in the school office to complete your paperwork today.

Bobcat Birthdays
We celebrate Bobcat birthdays as a whole school at the morning meeting by singing Happy Birthday. Students can pick a small birthday gift from the birthday bucket provided by Mill A PTO.
Birthdays can also be celebrated in the classroom; please make this arrangement with your student’s classroom teacher.
